An interesting place to visit when you are in the area. It is the former home of the Ladies of Llangollen and now preserved as a small museum. The dark wood carvings throughout the house are fascinating. There was a Gentleman Jack exhibition on during our visit. Gardens are free to visit and make for a nice walk. Great tea room on sire.

Took my mum here to explore the fascinating history of the ladies of Llangollen. The house and gardens are lovely and quaint. The chap at the front of the house was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about Plas Newydd. Also enjoyed some very decently priced afternoon tea for two at the tearoom for only £19.50 (we got so full we had to take some of the cakes home with us!) and tasty Welsh rarebit. Definitely worth a visit, especially on a nice sunny day! 😘👍

Visited Plas Newydd for the first time with a friend. Such a lovely building with a very interesting history. Stunning interior which is a feast for the eyes around every corner. Friendly staff very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Had lunch in the cafe. Nice choice of snacks/meals. Sat outside as such a lovely day. Will absolutely be returning.

What a stunning place to visit, the little woodland at the back of the house is so pretty. A really old water fountain and summer house gives it the feel of a fairy tale. House is £7 if you wish to enter, but the rest is free, parking free too. Great view of Castelle Dinas Bràn from the woodland. To cover the whole grounds, it's about half a mile. A bit more if you wander in circles like I do. Cafe toilets, this is a different story. They are absolutely disgusting. Decor is nice, but the smell is that bad. I had to walk out. The smell of imonia literally choked you. For it to smell that bad, cleaning clearly hasn't been done. It's was like ten day old urine left to fester. Apart from that gorgeous, just have a wee before you visit.

Beautiful. Especially in spring and summer. Its a small and quaint little place, always clean and well kept. Its probably too small for a day trip but I live locally and its a beautiful and quiet spot. I have not been in the house of coffee shop but the grounds are lovely. Well worth a walk around

Plas Newydd is absolutely stunning, so full of history of 2 amazing ladies. The house is beautiful, inside and out. Beautiful walks, found chicken of woods there. Was greeted by a very friendly cat called Barney. i was disappointed with the cafe, nothing tasty / no variety of food if you're celiac, and having to pay an extra 50p for oat/soya milk! I will return to the house and gardens but not to the cafe...
